Testimonials
Dear Mr. Joe and Mrs.Jimmy,
I would like to thank you for your wonderfull care and perfect teaching during my stay at your ranch. It was really great. I learned so much new things like patiente, not to hurry during riding and training my horse . And your words "life begins on the surface" follow me everywhere and everytime when I work with horses. I am looking forward to seeng you again.
Yours sincerly

Working for Joe was a valuable learning experience for me and a real blessing.
I am able to use the things that Joe taught me in my current job every day, whether
it be horsemanship, stockmanship, or roping. I am very appreciative of the effort Joe
put forth to help me improve as a rider. It has been enjoyable to try to continue to improve
with the things I was able to take away from the time I spent working with Joe.

Joe,
I wanted to say a big thank you for everything that you taught me while I was at your clinic in Aspermont. My horses are so much quieter and more relaxed and we are starting to really figure each other out. I have been much more aware of what the horse is trying to communicate with me, and this has helped me out in countless ways. It carries over into the cattle working, as I am learning to be calm and relaxed and watch for the signals from the cattle. The principles are much the same when working around horses and cattle, and the cattle handle much better.
I have a long way to go to really have unity with a horse, but I feel like I am making progress in that direction thanks to you. My roping is improving; it's still not good, but it is much better.
Jimmie,
Thanks for all of the hospitality and the wonderful meals that you prepared for us. You made us all feel right at home, and I really appreciate that.
I look forward to spending time with y'all again and continuing this learning process that I have begun. Please come and see us next time y'all are down in this neck of the woods.

"I travel from England especially to ride in Joe's Clinics, which are held at his home in Texas. Being a student of Joe's is an absolute pleasure because his patience, enthusiasm and laughter create an ideal learning environment, where we feel included, encouraged and as though no question is insignificant. Every time I leave Joe's Clinics I feels as though I can believe in any horse to achieve anything. Words don't do justice to how much I appreciate the things that I have experienced and become aware of while riding with Joe and how this has positively affected my work with horses back home in England".

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the article about Joe Wolters titled, "Hill Drills." I participated in one of Joe's Home Ranch Clinics last week in Aspermont, TX, and came away from the experience with much improved horsemanship and roping skills, and riding a more trusting and confident horse. Joe and Jimmie run a first-rate operation, and I'll be looking forward to participating in future Wolters clinics at the Home Ranch and elsewhere. Thanks very much for including Joe's training insights in Western Horseman.
This spring I had the opportunity to ride in one of Joe's Ranch Horse Clinics. Due to Joe's broken leg I was also fortunate enough to help start several of their colts. This time spent with Joe was a great learning experience and a lot of fun. The knowledge and experience Joe shared with me is invaluable in helping me to become more aware and to get smoother with my horses. Joe's patience and effective communication make for a fun learning atmosphere. The Wolters' hospitality and accommodations are all top notch.
